About Us
Welcoming New Members… APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN!
In addition to benefiting members in the commercial sector, we also strive as a group to support local charities and charitable events wherever possible and welcome suggestions for fundraising activities.
We continually welcome new members providing they do not duplicate any existing member trades / sectors / services / business types.
When & Where?
Our structured fortnightly breakfast networking sessions are held at The Kings Arms Pub in Frating every other Tuesday from 7.00am – 8.30am.
Whilst our gatherings are structured to allow fair exposure for all our members, there is always plenty of time for informal conversations, getting to know members and forging friendships.
- FREE onsite parking available
- Coffee and breakfast included
- Guaranteed ‘1 minute’ opportunity to speak to the room, plus additional structured and informal time to network with our members
- Business Card / Referral Slip Exchange
- Alternating 15-minute member showcase each session with Audio-Visual equipment if required
How much is it?
As a not-for-profit organisation, our membership fees cover our venue hire, individual’s breakfast requirements and provide contributions to any additional social events.
To become a TFIB member we ask that you first attend 3 x Breakfast Networking Meetings as our guest, before submitting your application form. Your application will then be presented to our committee for approval.
On acceptance of your membership, a standing order of £25 / month is required to cover all costs. You are free to cancel your membership at any time; we do however politely ask for 1 month’s notice.

I joined TFIB in 2016 and I was amazed at how much work I gained in a short space of time. They are very friendly and not only is the networking great, but they are fun to be with socially. I can recommend the group and it is lovely when we have substitutes stand in that say how much they miss the group now they are not full members. Many who leave because of other commitments often remain on the subs list. Last year 500 pieces of work were passed around the table, so very worthwhile.
I have found our TFIB membership invaluable. TFIB keeps me in touch with local business people and business trends, which I think is important.
By talking about my business on a regular basis it maintains my confidence when standing up in front of people and speaking. It was never one of my strengths, but I now feel at ease when doing it.
